Guest teachers at Kali Yuga Yoga this weekend!!!

Greetings Kali Yuga Yogis and Yoginis!

It has been an honest delight and true inspiration having you all in class this season. Whether you have come in for one session or one of many, it has been such an honor to meet and practice with each and every soul. I sincerely thank you!

Just to let you know I will be out of town this weekend beginning after instructing the 9:30AM class Thursday, June 14 and returning in time to lead the afternoon classes on Monday, June 18. In my place will be two experienced and knowledgeable instructors, Alicia Anderson and Colleen Dwyer. Although their styles will vary from the schedule, each has a special gift and approach to yoga that I know you will find rewarding and educational. I have attached some information below regarding each teacher listing her trainings and background.

I do hope you will make an effort to come practice this weekend. Both Alicia and Colleen welcome meeting you!

Shanti Om,
Leah

Kali Yuga Yoga
welcomes guest teachers
Alicia Anderson
&
Colleen Dwyer

The weekend of June 14-18
Alicia Anderson- CI
Alicia has studied and practiced various styles of yoga for five years and became certified through the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. She trained extensively in Vinyasa yoga with a focus on Eastern anatomy. Furthermore, Alicia is a licensed and experienced massage therapist and certified in Synchronicity Meditation. Her class incorporates her love of meditation and visualization, resulting in a clearer body/mind connection for overall holistic balance. For the past year, Alicia has lead classes at Yoga Source and instructs regularly at Balance Bodywork in Berry Hill. Alicia will be leading all classes on Friday, June 15 & Saturday, June 16 in addition to the Monday, June 18 9:30AM session.

Colleen Dwyer- CI, RYT
Colleen has been practicing yoga as a dedicated student for seven years, and as a teacher for two of those years. Colleen became a certified yoga teacher in January 2005, through Yogi Master Alan Finger's Be Yoga, in the ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda) style. Colleen has developed a style all of her own, taking a gentle approach, honoring the body, and paying detailed attention to alignment. Colleen tenderly leads you, expert or novice, using asana (postures), pranayama (breath regulation), music, readings, candles, incense, chanting, and meditation - back to a world, one you may have lost touch with - a world of authentic you! Colleen currently teaches at her home studio in East Nashville. She also teaches classes at Magnolia, a neighborhood spa. Colleen will be leading both afternoon classes on Thursday, June 14 as well as the Sunday, June 17 4:30PM session.

Come out and enjoy a new practice
with fresh inspiration this weekend!
