Yoga Yoga Yoga

Greetings and Namaste,

Please join us this week for a wonderful practice guided by our own Leah
Lillios. Class is scheduled at our usual time Wednesday at 6:30pm.

I would also like to give a special thanks to all of you that stopped by
during the tomato arts festival. Leah and I had a great time drinking
green iced tea and seeing lots of new and familiar faces! We are both
excited about kaliyugayoga becoming more involved in next years
festivities.

Thank you Leah, for the awesome t-shirts that you made for the festival!
They were a big hit! We even had several people ask if they could buy
one. Yes, Leah is a woman of many talents!

We are also beginning to plan our first official yoga club retreat. We
have some great ideas planned. All I can say is this will definitely be
one weekend that you will not want to miss. More details to come very
soon.

I hope that you all have a wonderful remainder of the week and weekend.

Love and light,
Shanita ;o)

RESTORATIVE YOGA at Kali Yuga Yoga- 8/18!!

KALI YUGA YOGA invites you to attend…

***SWEET MOLASSES WORKSHOP****
Saturday, August 18, 2007 - 3 to 5 PM
A blissful combination of Hatha/Slow Vinyasa and RESTORATIVE Yoga
2 hour workshop- ONLY $30

With NYC certified Colleen Dwyer, RYT

The workshop begins with a short meditation, then eases into exploring
traditional asanas (postures), with focus on breathing, mindfulness, and
alignment. We will then transition into Restorative Yoga: using props,
we will relax into postures for prolonged periods of time. The stillness
allows your body to rejuvenate, your nervous system to calm, and your
whole being to feel the peace which is your natural state. The approach
is gentle to all postures, even the challenging ones. Essential oils will
be used to enhance the setting and mood. Hands-on adjustments along with
gentle massage add a personal touch. Pranayama (breath control exercises)
will be integrated throughout the workshop.
